Coronado Condos

You've heard about Coronado's sunshine beaches, clement weather and laidback ocean-village life. Its artistic architecture, arts and entertainment, and vibrant community life have already caught your fancy. You are dreaming of that quick drive to the beach, a walk in Coronado's beautiful parks, or the easy drive to work along the stellar "Silver Strand." To top it, your real estate agent has already told you that Coronado is a great place to live and raise a family, and has very good investment potential.

The catch is (ahem!), all this comes with an unaffordable price tag, thanks to Coronado's burgeoning appeal and continued value appreciation. Nonetheless, all's not lost and there's reason to rejoice. You can take solace in Coronado condominiums -a great deal if the prices of Coronado homes are too expensive. Coronado condos provide ample living space and are a decent investment as well. Above all, they are your connection to an elegant lifestyle and provide almost everything that you could possibly want in a residence.

Beautifully, artistically and comfortably furnished, some of them by San Diego's best-known designers, Coronado condos come with light entertaining in mind. Cable TV, Internet, audio-video players, fully equipped kitchens with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, jetted bath tubs and custom built-ins are almost a given for even the medium-priced condos. On-site or nearby activities could include biking, golfing, tennis, fishing, shopping, wining and dining, live theater, swimming, boating, sailing or surfing. Many Coronado condos offer magnificent city-, river- or ocean-views as well.

As per estimates drawn by city-data, there are plenty of rooms and bedrooms in renter-occupied housing units and apartments in Coronado, many of which are condos.

There are also some newer condominiums here and there on the West of Orange Avenue, which is primarily a Prairie style and bungalow homes area. On the Bayside, the Old Ferry Landing serves up a magnificent view of downtown San Diego. There are condos alongside the Ferry Landing Marketplace which has been completely renovated and is lined with more than 30 shops, restaurants, and art galleries near Shoreline Park. Adjacent to the Hotel Del, on the oceanfront, many high rise residential buildings and condo units include penthouses and views of the ocean, sand and whitewater to give the feeling of being on the water. 10 large condo blocks more than 10 stories high are on Avenida Del Mundo close to the Hotel Del. Finally, the "Cays" are condominiums and single family houses located about 4 miles south, down the Silver Strand from the Hotel Del.

Of all of San Diego's neighborhoods, Coronado is the most premium, thanks to its unique lifestyle and distinctive features. The San Diego House Hunting website provides detailed price reports by zip code, and by townhouses, condos, or combined.

Although Condos are primarily owned, many are offered on rent to Coronado's mushrooming vacationing crowd.
