Sales of homes tend to dip at the end of the year. People are buying massage chairs, novelty items, and the newest gaming system "for my nephew." So it's no surprise that sales for single family homes and condos in Coronado dropped beginning in September. What is surprising is that beginning in November, the 3-month moving average price of single family homes rose November through December and condos remained level through the end of the year with a peak in sales in October.

Coronado, CA the Crown City Tuesday January 16, 2007 Posted in: Coronado Real Estate

Coronado is a peninsula juxtaposed to Downtown San Diego across the San Diego Bay. Because of its geographic location it has one of the best views of San Diego's bay and the city skyline if you live bayside. If you like to wake up in the morning to a nice sea breeze and yachtsmen cruising with a school of dolphin outside an ocean-view window, look no further and pick a house oceanside.

Also known as the Crown City, Coronado has a deep history, housing the world-famous Hotel Del Coronado, which is a National Historic Landmark, built in 1888 and featured in classic Hollywood blockbusters.
